The blood type scene is so funny cuz like. These men are both murderers. One of them is currently a hostage. Pete is sassier and more playful than we’ve ever seen him with anyone - PEAK jester if you will. It’s like he’s gotten comfortable in this little room because he knows Vegas is stuck with him too, so he might as well treat him like a fellow prisoner instead of a captor. He gets cocky with it. Pushes Vegas’ buttons. Like, I LOOOOVVEEE this Pete and I don’t see him talked about enough because I really think their relationship is so founded dynamically on this interaction. Both of them basically arguing about who is more pretentious and then who loves the other more and what proves it, and then fucking like there’s no tomorrow to answer each other’s question: they’re equals now.

I need this old bickering horny couple stuff more. Yeah, yeah, I’m a slut for the angst and the drama of them being ‘toxic but considering who they are they’re the best options for each other’ and all, but day to day? Mundane VegasPete? Arguing over spices in their noodles and “oh you’re a real astrology bitch, I thought that was just on your shirt,” and “if you put up another gun poster I’m banning you from all future home decor.”
